After several years of mostly No- Age statements in the product range of Macallan – now they are about to release the Macallan Double Cask 12 years. With this launch they will try compensate the sales slump wich came with the Macallan Gold , Amber , Sienna and ruby series.
The Double Cask was stored in 2 different sherry barrels of american and european oak . According the announcement the Whisky will be bottled with 43 % vol Alcohol.
